1. How do I reserve a charter bus?
Reservations are easily made through the BusBound website. A reservation is confirmed once written acknowledgment and full payment are received from the client.
2. When should I book my charter bus?
We recommend booking at least seven (7) days before your planned service date to ensure availability.
3. What is the payment policy for bookings?
For bookings made more than 14 days in advance, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable seven days before the service date. Full payment is required for reservations made within 14 days of the service date.
4. How can I cancel my reservation, and are there any fees?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to customerservice@busbound.com or your sales representative. Verbal cancellations are not accepted. Cancellation fees vary based on the timing of the cancellation and the size of the vehicle reserved.
Point-to-Point Transfers: Up to 7 seats: There is no charge if canceled more than 24 hours before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 24 hours. 8 to 14 seats: No charge if canceled more than 48 hours before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 48 hours. Sixteen seats or more: No charge if canceled more than 14 days before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 14 days.
Single-Day Charters: Up to 7 seats: There is no charge if canceled more than 48 hours before the service; there is a 100% charge if canceled within 48 hours. 8 to 14 seats: No charge if canceled more than 72 hours before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 72 hours. 5. How long does it take to receive a refund?
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and will be issued using the original payment method. Flexibility in Itinerary Changes: We're Here to Accommodate Your Needs Changes must be requested at least 14 days before the service date. Requests made within 72 hours may incur additional fees, and changes that affect pickup/drop-off times or distances may result in cost adjustments.
6. What if I need a different type of vehicle?
Availability and pricing may vary based on the vehicle type required. Contact us for assistance in selecting the best vehicle for your needs.
7. What is the policy for changing travel dates?
Changes to travel dates made more than 14 days in advance will incur a change fee and are subject to vehicle availability. Changes made less than 14 days before the service date will be considered cancellations and require rebooking.
8. Is overtime available for charter services?
Overtime is available at the discretion of the drivers and BusBound. Based on the final itinerary reported by the driver, overtime charges will be billed after the trip.
9. What additional expenses might I be responsible for?
Clients are responsible for driver lodging, tolls, parking fees, extra stops, and other related costs.

11. What happens if unforeseen events are affecting my trip?
BusBound cannot guarantee service in weather, mechanical breakdowns, or similar events beyond our control.
12. What are the requirements for driver lodging?
Clients must provide suitable lodging for drivers that meets a minimum 2.5-star standard. BusBound will arrange lodging if not provided, and the client will reimburse the cost.
13. Can trips be terminated early?
Trips may be terminated without refund if the driver or passengers are in danger, if illegal materials are present, or if FMCSA regulations are violated.
14. Who is responsible for any damages to the bus?
Clients are responsible for any damages caused to the bus, including excessive interior clean-up. Charges will be applied accordingly.
