1. How do I reserve a charter bus?
Reservations can be made through the BusBound website. Confirmation is provided once written acknowledgment and full payment are received from the client.
2. How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least seven (7) days before the planned service date.
3. What is the payment policy?
For bookings made more than 14 days in advance, 50% of the estimated cost is due at booking, with the balance payable seven days before the service date. For bookings within 14 days, 100% of the cost is due at booking.
4. How can I cancel my reservation?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing, including the charter number, service date, and reason for cancellation, via email to customerservice@busbound.com or your sales representative. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
5. What are the cancellation fees?
Point-to-Point Transfers: Up to 7 seats: There is no charge if canceled more than 24 hours before the service; there is a 100% charge if canceled within 24 hours. 8 to 14 seats: No charge if canceled more than 48 hours before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 48 hours. Sixteen seats or more: No charge if canceled more than 14 days before the service; 100% charge if canceled within 14 days.

6. How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds may take up to 30 days to process and will be issued using the original payment method. Flexibility is Key: Making Changes to Your Itinerary Changes must be submitted to BusBound 14 days before the service date. Changes made within 72 hours may incur a fee and affect costs based on pickup/drop-off times or distances.
7. What if I need a different type of vehicle?
Pricing and availability may vary depending on the type of vehicle required.
8. What is the policy for changing travel dates?
Changes made more than 14 days before the reservation incur a change fee and depend on vehicle availability. Changes made less than 14 days before the reservation are considered cancellations and require rebooking.
9. Is overtime available?
Overtime is available at the discretion of the drivers and BusBound, with charges billed after the trip based on the final itinerary.
10. What additional expenses might I incur?
Clients are responsible for driver lodging, tolls, parking fees, extra stops, and other related costs.
11. Bus Images and Information: Your Assurance
The images and information on the website may differ from the actual bus used. Specific details such as make, model, year, or amenities cannot be guaranteed.
12. What happens if there are unforeseen events?
BusBound cannot guarantee service in the case of weather, mechanical breakdowns, or similar events.
13. Are there requirements for driver lodging?
Clients must provide suitable lodging for drivers meeting a minimum 2.5-star standard. BusBound will arrange accommodation if not provided, and the client will reimburse the cost.
14. Can trips be terminated?
Trips may be terminated without refund if the driver or passengers are in danger, if illegal materials are present, or if FMCSA regulations are violated.
15. Who is responsible for bus damages?
Clients are responsible for any damages caused to the bus, including excessive interior clean-up. Charges will be applied accordingly.
